Job Description :

Sales Manager – $45K to $138K; Base, Benefits, Bonuses, Overrides & Profit Share

  • Extensive closing skills required.  Must be able to "take-over" a presentation and close the sale during the objection cycle during the sales rep initial training period.
  • Brian Tracy - 24 Techniques for Closing the Sale must be in your personal sales training library.  If it is not do not apply for this position.  Apply for the Sr. Marketing Consultant position and fight your way to the front of the line for Sales Management.  This is an "in the trenches" sales managment position - not a corner office position.
  • Responsibilities include - Manage and direct a sales force to achieve sales production and profitability goals. Follows company sales process, guidelines and utilizes presentation and tracking tools; designs and recommends sales programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume.
  • Sales Manager may recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction, retention, client up sales and new business sales potential. Ensures client’s production is completed on time and within budget; acts as first line of defense to sales team regarding customer service, tasks, and operations.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related area of specialty a plus.  2 years of experience in training entry and mid-level sales personnel on cold calling, converting in bound calls, conducting thorough needs assessments, presenting product, price, asking for the order, and overcoming objections preferred.  Familiarity with internet marketing, web site, newsletter or search engine sales required. 
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks including; order tracking, sales team performance tracking, daily team meetings, upholding standards of performance, and ensuring sales team profitability. 
Job Requirements :
  • Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  Short term reports to CEO, long term reports to Director of Sales.
